Why DealerDocs

Everything a clean handover needs — in one place

Most confusion after a sale comes down to one thing: no clear paperwork. We make the right documentation fast and simple.

30-second workflow

Add buyer, seller, vehicle, payment and delivery details in one guided flow to prepare a PDF-ready agreement in seconds.

📄

Structured documentation

✍️

On-screen signing

Designed to capture signatures on the spot during handover and keep a clear agreement record for both sides.

📲

Share in one tap

Designed to let you share the PDF with the buyer in a tap and keep your own copy.

How it works

From details to PDF in four steps

01

Pick a document

Car or bike sale agreement, Form 29/30 documents, delivery note, or the complete documentation set.

02

Designed to capture the RC and ID so seller, buyer and vehicle details auto-populate.

03

Sign

Designed for on-screen signing during handover, with an optional selfie and date stamp for a clearer record.

04

Share & save

Prepare the PDF, share it, and use the Form 29/30 as part of your RTO transfer checklist (official RTO transfer remains required).

The difference

A plain receipt vs a structured agreement

A handwritten "bechan" note

  • No standard format or clear terms
  • Buyer, vehicle and payment details often missing
  • No signatures or witness blocks
  • Easy to dispute, easy to lose
  • More confusion after the handover

A DealerDocs agreement

  • Clean, structured sale-agreement format
  • Buyer, seller, vehicle & payment details captured
  • Signature and witness blocks included
  • Form 29/30 ready for your RTO checklist
  • A saved, shareable PDF record of the deal

“I sold my bike in 2023 and forgot about it — until a challan showed up on my name in 2024. After that I never hand over a vehicle without a proper agreement and Form 29.”

Questions

Frequently asked

How fast can I create a vehicle sale agreement?

About 30 seconds to a few minutes. Add the buyer, seller, vehicle, payment and delivery details in a guided flow, review, and generate a PDF-ready agreement.

What does a DealerDocs agreement include?

A standard used-vehicle sale agreement format with buyer, seller, vehicle and payment details, signature and witness blocks, plus a handover record you can keep and share as a PDF. It helps you keep structured documentation and does not replace RTO ownership transfer or legal advice.

Do I still need to go to the RTO?

Yes. DealerDocs does not replace the RTO ownership transfer. It gives you the agreement and the Form 29/30 documents you can use as part of your RTO transfer checklist — see our RC transfer guide.

Why keep a written agreement after selling?

Until the RC is transferred to the buyer at the RTO, you may still be linked to the vehicle for challans and notices. A clear written sale agreement and the Form 29/30 documents help you keep a record of the handover and reduce confusion later.

Can I sell a vehicle that has a pending challan?

You can, but you should disclose it and ideally clear it first — an unpaid challan can stall the RC transfer. Read selling with a pending challan.

DealerDocs helps users create and organize vehicle sale agreement documents. It does not replace RTO ownership transfer, legal advice, or any government process.
