Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the DealerDocs website and app ("Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. DealerDocs is operated by [Legal operating entity name — to be added before launch], India.
1. What DealerDocs is
DealerDocs is a documentation workflow that helps used-vehicle dealers, brokers and sellers create and organize vehicle sale agreement documents, handover records and a Form 29/30 checklist where available. It is a documentation aid. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not perform or complete RTO ownership transfer. Official RTO ownership transfer is a separate government process and remains your responsibility.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Provide accurate information.
3. Your content and responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the details you enter (buyer, seller, vehicle, payment, delivery) and for how you use the documents you generate. You confirm you have the right to use the information you provide and to document the transaction. Documents created with DealerDocs are supporting records prepared by the parties; their legal effect depends on the facts, applicable law and proper execution, which are outside our control.
4. Verification, signing & payments
Optional features such as vehicle/identity verification, electronic signing, e-stamping and credit purchases are provided through third-party providers and may be activated progressively. These features depend on third-party availability and on completion of production setup. Some features may be unavailable during testing. Charges, where applicable, are shown before purchase.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes.
- Do not enter another person's information without authority.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or abuse the Service or its rate limits.
6. No legal or professional advice
Content on the Service, including guides and templates, is general information, not legal advice. RTO requirements vary by state and change over time. Confirm the applicable process with the relevant RTO or the official Parivahan portal, and consult a qualified professional for your specific situation.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that documents will achieve any particular legal outcome, that ownership or liability will transfer, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DealerDocs and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, documents created with the Service. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes & termination
We may update the Service and these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction and venue will be specified in the finalized terms published before launch.

DealerDocs helps users create and organize vehicle sale agreement documents. It does not replace RTO ownership transfer, legal advice, or any government process. Official RTO ownership transfer remains separate, and requirements may vary by state/RTO.
